I’m Xicheng Wang, a Technical Artist and Tools Programmer passionate about bridging art and technology to build efficient, artist-friendly production pipelines. Currently, I work with PlayStation, where I design and develop pipeline tools supporting teams, including titles like Death Stranding 2 and other unannounced projects.
Before joining PlayStation, I gained experience as a Technical Artist Intern at Tencent Games and NetEase Games, developing tools, shaders, and cross-DCC animation workflows in Maya, Unreal, and Unity. My earlier work as a C++ Software Engineer further strengthened my foundation in real-time systems and engine-level development.
I hold a Master’s in Digital Production Arts from Clemson University (GPA 3.8/4.0) and a Bachelor’s in Digital Media Technology from Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication. I’m passionate about procedural content generation, pipeline automation, and AI-assisted tools that push the boundaries of real-time content creation.
